Question: What are cannonballs made of!?
I saw a shot furnace at an old battlefield near where I live, and it made me wonder what cannonballs are made of!. Specifically, those used during the Revolutionary war!. Does anyone know!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

During the Revolution, cannon balls were made of iron!. In some cases you could tell who they belonged to!. Some British cannon balls were marked with the Broad Arrow!. Some French shot were marked with the fleur-de-lise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
