Question: Was the aegean basin formed before or after the time of alexander the great!?

The Mediterranean Sea has remained about the same as we know it for at least 4,000 years!. Yes, the Aegean we know is the same that Alexander knew, and Homer knew!. The region may be 5-6 million years old, and while the Sea seems to have filled, dried up, and refilled over the millennium, no human life was there to record the changes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why after of course!. Most of the sites of his Asia Minor conquests, including Tyre and the Sinod, are still extant, and quite above water just as they were back then!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
