The Trojan war was written about by Homer in around 800 BC, and is thought to have taken place a few hundred years earlier, probably in around 1000 BC!.

All the Greek kings stopped fighting each other for once and ganged up to fight against the Trojans (Troy is thought to be part of what is now Turkey)!.

The war started because Helen, the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta, ran off with Paris, the son of King Priam of Troy!.

The Trjoan war took place outside the city of Troy, probably somewhere in Turkey!.

The outcome was that the Greeks won, the city of Troy was destroyed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
