US!. Why do you think it has 35 million + immigrants!? Many of those from western europe, mind you!.

also, although some say that it is in "economic decline," it has proved thus far very resiliant to all the problems it has encountered!. Many European countrys, subjected to the same assults, would have spinned into a depression!.

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel!. The little "recession" we are experiencing now is nothing compared to the early 90's, and it may turn out not even to be a recession but rather an "economic slowdown!." also, America as it is now is far better than most countries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Luxembourg- highest GDP in the world- on average $88,000 per capita!. It's a tiny country in the center of Western Europe, but it's two major economic industries of banking and steel have kept it as an indestructible economic powerhouse for ages!.

In terms of banking it is a tax haven for investors- most of whom are foreign (a high percentage are from its neighbor- Germany)!. They maintain a high level of secrecacy in their banking system, making it an attractive option for foreigners

In terms of steel, a decent chunk of their GDP emerges from the steel industry on the french border as well, but it has declined in the past few decades, but the banking industry has been able to offer a decent financial cushion!.

The Luxembourgers are highly educated usually fluent in their 3 national languese of French, German and Luxembourgish and a decent portion of the population speaks English as well!.
