Jobs!. During the war, the northern and west coast economy began expanding rapidly to provide war materials, and there was tens of thousands of jobs created!. In the South, even where the economy was expanding, Jim Crow laws limited jobs African Americans could get!. In the north, that was less true, and the same was true of the west coast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
