Question: What does a tragedy in 1600BC say about our future!?
Around 1600 bc a Volcano exploded called Thera, now the island of santorini!. The resulting exposion created a tsuami that destroyed the minoan culture and may have had a role in the exodus in egypt!. In the period of time after the natural disater the Greeks with the only surviving Navy attacked and looted the Minoan culture!.!.!.and likely finished or scattered it!.
The monoan culture prior to its demise was an advanced bronze age culture , perhaps matching Egypt in its time!. But the greeks were far less advanced at that time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There will always be less cultured people who take things by force, but just look at what the Greeks accomplished 1,000 years later!. Societies may rise and fall, but I believe that Humanity as a whole will continue to advance despite ups and downs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can never be sure when your culture will collapse!. It often comes when you least expect it in ways you can't imagine!.

Civilisations come and go!. Minoans, mycaneans, etuscans, hittites, sumerians, assyrians etc !.!.!.!.!.a roll-call of history!. Ours will collapse too, just a question of when, and whether by natural disaster or human folly!. My bet is on the latter as the seeds have already been sown!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
