i don't really know!. maybe because he is a military officer before he was president or maybe because he introduced economic integration with the Russian Federation and building relationships with leaders of the former Soviet Union!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lukashenko is a throwback to the days of Communist controlled Soviet Union!. He is "elected" by being the only one running for office!. His government consists of oppressing dissidents and opposing a free market economic system!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
