there were numerous reasons why they dropped the bomb on hiroshima!. The first and foremost reason was that an invasion of Japan would easily cost 1 million men!. This just wasn't feasible after the loss of life sustained during the war, and the Japaneses would fight till the death even once occupied by the United States!. Another reason was that it would produce a quick surrender!. IN addition the dropping of the bomb was used to intimidate Russia and to scare them because at this time communism was becoming the strong antithesis to a capitalist america!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
