Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Fascism is an ideology where a country has a totalitarian central government (dictatorship) with a single party!. The government controls the economy and every aspect of the citizens' lives!. Fascists stress nationalism, and propose that the good of the nation is more important than the lives and rights of the citizens!. The military is usually closely tied to the executive branch in a Fascist state, and the laws and will of the government are imposed through fear, military force and oppression!. Political opposition to the Fascist party is repressed, leaving all the power in it (especially its leader's) hands!. also, the Fascist movement was an alternative to, and strongly opposed to, both communsim and democracy!.

Benito Mussolini was the founder of this ideology, and the leader of Italy's Fascist Party!. He rose to power in Italy in the 1920s and established the first Fascist state!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
