I can help you out on some things like

1!.) Mansa Musa was a great archive information of some sort
2!.) Timbuktu was foundation of all science, philosophy, art, and learning in general
3!.) First stop any outside influence and then made all the other tribes or kingdom kindred to one another with blood ties
4!.) Islam bought mono thesis(one god) to Africa , therefore move away from poly thesis(many gods)
