The splitting of Germany and Berlin, the east side was controlled by the soviets and the west was split between the U!.S!. France and Britain!. But yes that created tension between them because the U!.S!. wanted to send food to the east side, since people in there suffered from lack of food and many died, and the soviets didn't want the americans to do that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
