Be careful: the political party of Hitler called
"nationalsocialism" has nothing to do with socialism!. It was an extremist nationalist party, with extrem racist views!.
The promises to give work and to help workless people belongs to the ideology, but indeed, Hitler has educated the people to obey and to follow his line!. There was no possibility for selfcritic and no democraty neither!.
The socialist party in germany is "SPD": sozialistische Partei Deutschlands" and is very different from "NSDAP", from Hitler!.

All political parties, apart from the National Socialist Party (which was all about Nationalism and nothing about Socialism) were banned, once Hitler obtained power!. Leaders, particularly of the Communist and Socialist Parties, were rounded up and in most cases summarily executed!. Dictators do not allow any opposition - that is why they are dictators!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He allowed some right-wing parties to join with the Nazis but sent many people from left-wing parties and other left-wing groups to the earliest concentration camps!.
