During the British Empire, (The 2ND Greatest Empire, behind The Roman), when they tried to help 2/3 of the world with their Problems, only to be asked to leave, one by one, (Their Worst and Greatest mistake, ever), just look at the state of all those country's now, without the British Help and Aid, that they had at first which helped them to develop their Country!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There really are no records of such things until modern times!.

The only real form of aid that was sent in ancient times was military aid for allies!.

Because of the slowness of communication in those days it would sometimes take months for anyone outside the immediate area of a natural disaster to even know it had taken place, let alone send aid!.

I wouldn't think that intra-national aid counts as international aid!. The case with Pompeii would be that it was a province of Rome!. No other nations sent them aid!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yun is not quite right!. China and its neighbors have had active, recorded trade for over 2,500 years!. While I have read of food aid going from one province in China to another, in times of famine, there might be instances of aid going abroad as well!. (Several cases inside China during the T'ang, around 700 AD!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
