Many of them were tried by international courts including the International Military Tribunal (which was for military persons that were charged)!. Some were tried and executed, others went to prison for the rest of their life!. Some are still in hiding in Argentina and even the USA!. A handful were brought into the US by our government for reasons of national security!. As a note, many of them used as their defense claimed that they were just following orders which was not accepted as a justification!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a few were arrested and hung
a few more were identified and tried- and then released for "humanitarian concerns"
many found employment with new masters- eg the communist East German "STASI"
