The US bet the Japanese into submission with two atomic bombs which killed millions, so I guess they won in the Pacific!. The Russians ran the Nazis out of their land and back to Berlin!. When they took Berlin, the war was over in Europe, so I guess they won aswell!. The allies in Europe [ie:the British, the US and the French] got all the way to Germany but decided to leave Berlin to the Russians but I guess they won too!. WW2 was a brutal and savage war and like any other war, there were no winners only loosers!. Millions and millions of heroes who gave their lives for the greed and tyranny of othersWww@QuestionHome@Com

If you mean in the traditional manner of gaining land and subjects, no!. The war was won by the Allied forces which were combating the attempts by the Axis powers to gain land and 'subjects' by force of arms!. The Allied powers were not interested in annexing land from other nation, unlike the Axis, and attempted to recreate the national boundary's of the pre war era!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You aren't thinking very hard if you need help with an answer like this!. The first responder said it right--the Axis lost, the Allies won!. If you were German (to include the Hungarians, Bulgarians, Romanians and Finns), Japanese or Italian, you lost!. If you were the rest of Planet Earth, you won!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

According to history the Allied Powers won the war!. However, there could have opinions out the wazoo!. The United States, Britain etc were able to defeat the Axis powers led by Hitler, but it came at a great personal cost to the citizens of those countries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The allies won and the axis lost!. it is a simple as that!. the axis signed an official surrender after the death of Hitler on the European front and after the two atomic bombs on the pacific front!. There is really none of that "symbolic" crap about who really won!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
