At that point the Nazi regime was close to collapse and most of Germany had been occupied by the Allied armies!. Adolf Hitler and some of his closest henchmen took shelter in an underground bunker (the Fuhrerbunker) underneath Berlin as Soviet forces surrounded and then stormed the city!. The first, "The Rise and Fall of The Third Reich" last chapter called "Gotterdammerung" explains in detail the battle of Berlin from the Perspective of Hitler in the Bunker!. Another great book to read is called, "The Fall of Berlin" by Anthony Read and David Fisher!. "The Fall of Berlin" focuses primarily on the Russian army's Perspective!. Hope that helps!.
