If this is in college, a lot of times history is broken into two or even sometimes three parts for a semester!. It will depend if your school has two or three world history classes!. If it is in two, it should cover from the time frame the other one stopped until modern times!. Since there is a lot of variables in this situation, see if you can find someone from your school who has taken it and inquire from them!.
