Strengths:
It ended wordwar one!.
It created new nation states in Europe which despite the upheavals of WW2, still exist today, ninety years later
It created new nation states in the middle east which still exist today, ninety years later!.
It established the League of Nations, the forerunner of the United Nations!.
It made the first attempts in international affairs at self-determination by plebiscites!.

Weaknesses:
An offhand treatment of the non-European world for which the West is still paying today
In Africa, parcelling out territory to suit the imperialist powers!.
Failure to include Russia in the negotiations!.
Setting a reparations figure that was too high - only about 16% was paid anyway
Failure to include enforcement provisions for sanctions contained in the Treaty for non-compliance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
