I can tell you one appeal to socialism, it gives every person a fighting chance!. It allows people who have been born into positions that are less fortunate to have a chance to work their way up to a better place!. Without some socialist elements in play there is little hope for those who have nothing!. I personally believe that there needs to be a good balance between both capitalism and socialism for the optimal society!. The class system drastically changed near the beginning of the last century, people were tired of the old ways, and this was part of both the cause and result of socialist movements!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

socialism is the political device whereby cowards and layabouts giveup personal responsibility in exchange for collective welfare!. in other words, I'll give you my soul in exchange for a monthly welfare check (usually small amounts) and cheap food and housing for life!
