They wanted them to pay for the damage done by starting the war, but also to prevent them from doing it again!. They forced them to cut their military back too!. The French were particularly brutal in their wish to see Germany crippled!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The allies(except for the US) sign the Treaty of Versailles, and it blame Germany for the start and the destruction that happen in the war!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
