They didn't have last names techically!.!.!.

he would have been Jesus of Nazareth, as he's commonly referred to!.

That far back he may have been referred to as Jesus the son of Joseph or updating it a bit Jesus Josephson

Youre right about 'Christ'

Im unsure as to the Old Hebrew translation, but it's probably the same reason 'God' has so many names!.!.!.Yaweh, Jehovah, etc etcWww@QuestionHome@Com

Back then they didn't have last names!. They were named according to their heritage!. Like "Mike son of John"!. Sometimes it would get real extravagant and they would go several generations back!.

So his full name would have been "Jesus son of Joseph"!.

If you read the New Testament, you will see this everywhere!. "Simon son of Bar-Jonas" is one that I can think of off the top of my head!. Although sometimes the scriptures just refer to him as Simon Bar-Jonas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

According to Jewish tradition, his name would have been Yashua (or Yahosua) ben Yosef!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it is joseph because joseph was jesus father!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
