In the south because!. It was where more of the racism existed and exists to this day!. That's were they had all the marches and a lot of activism!.

Jesse Owens, he ran in the Olympics and won the gold medal right in front of Hitler's face!. It was ironic because a black person won and he thought the white race was superior!.And Jackie Robinson, he was the first black person in the major league baseball!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it was centered around the southern baptist church!.Jesse Owens was certainly the one athlete in the 30's!.And in the 40' and 50's it was without question Jackie Robinson!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
