Manila, Luzon, Philippines ("Warsaw of Asia"- MacArthur!. Destruction of the city, murder of the civilians)

Warsaw, Poland the most destruction of any European city

Leningrad Russia (now St Petersburg) siege of Leningrad 1!.5 million civilians killed

Wow--very hard to limit it to just 5 cities!. And what measure you use determines who would be on the list!. For instance, in terms of "percentage of population killed" than Nagasaki and Hiroshima would be #1 and #2!. But in terms of total dead, than Stalingrad, Dresden, Hamburg and Tokyo would be the top 4 (with possibly Leningrad as #5)!. In terms of number of rapes that would be Berlin!. In terms of percentage of the city destroyed, probably Konigsburg in East Prussia followed by Stalingrad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
