You can, it just happens to be illegal in most countries!.

Quite rightly, countries consider relics as part of their national heritage, and don't want pieces of their history stolen!. Iraq had a rather serious problem with this at the start of the 2003 war, when the National Museum was looted and thousands of pieces were stolen!. They are only not starting to be recovered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have mud brick inscribed with Cuneiform writing from Babylon!.
