Question: American Indians hiding their identity!?
I've heard that during the time of the "Indian removal" in the nineteenth century that anyone with American Indian blood was forced to go as well!. Is this true!? Were people with one Native American parent forced to go to the reservations!? Any articles, links, books or other references are greatly appreciated!.
Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No Im sure I will get bad answers for this but only the Eastern people that Sold their land had to go and they were in large #s
The ones that did not sell their families are still there today In NC -Tn- Ga
They sold their land and and still lived there for decades before the white settlers want to move onto it
Then they had nowhere to go " Hence the trail of tears"Www@QuestionHome@Com
