LONDONDERRY!. The longest siege began with the closing of the gates of Londonderry against the Catholic King James II in 1689 and this began the longest siege in British Military history, which lasted for 105 days!.

The siege of Harlech Castle 1461 - 1468 (7 years)!. This was during the War of the Roses!. The reason why the castle lasted so long was because it's coastal location allowed it to be re-supplied with food and men from friendly ships!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
