Rich early adopters bought betamax video systems before VHS and Ghetto buster style portable stereos and quadrofonic music systems Women were wearing glitzy dresses with plenty of jewellery and make-up like in "Dynasty" series!. They were using chunky car phones and walkmans!. Kids or teenagers had BMX bikes and game boys and wore Dr!. Marteens shoes!. My family was rich in the 80's and they still have Ferraris and Bentleys and go on numerous vacations with perks, and buy expensive jewelry!.
