Question: What are some songs that have historical relavance in the 60's!?
I looove music & i love history - and my favorite time period to study is the 60s!. I am looking for songs that were either protest songs or are about specific historical events!.
Like!.!.!.!.
"Ohio" - Crosby, Still, Nash & Young (about Kent state)
"Someday" - Chicago (about the '68 Democratic National Convention)
"Chicago" - C, S, N & Y (about Chicago 8/democratic national convention)

or protest songs, like
"The Times they are are a-changin'" - bob dylan
"We Shall Overcome"- peter, paul, & mary
