Question: Who was the inventor of swear swords!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I highly doubt anyone would know who invented swear words as they quite likely go back to the earliest point in the history of man!. More surprising is that some of the swear words we may think we have a handle on as far as how old they are may actually be older than we believe!. For instance, back in high school I had been so terribly certain that the F word had never been used before the 20th century, and at the time I figured maybe no earlier than the fifty or sixties!. Then I got as a present for either Christmas or my birthday one year a Civil War diary!. You know, one of those diaries where they put them into print for later generations to read!. Anyway, I was rather shocked when I saw them describing an execution and the F word popped up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
