Back then, the stock market didn't have prtoection for people in their banks and people is always willing to sell their stocks back to the companies, that's how the crash started!. in modern times, there are now protection and security in the stock market and the banks!.

--how did he manage to bring society back together!? hoover didn't do much for the great depression, but he did't completely ignore people's needs!. roosevelt, however, created the New Deal programs which helped people and the economy!.
