He never fully mastered French and his spelling left a lot to be desired!.

The revolutionary fever that was spreading when Bonaparte was a teenager allowed a talented individual the opportunity to rise far beyond what could have been achieved only a few years previously!. Napoleon I (born Napoleone di Buonaparte, later Napoléon Bonaparte)[1] (15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821) was a French military and political leader who had significant impact on modern European history!. He was a general during the French Revolution, the ruler of France as Premier Consul of the French Republic, Empereur des Fran?ais, King of Italy, Mediator of the Swiss Confederation and Protector of the Confederation of the Rhine!.

He was a cadet in the army of the French King, he was an officer of the Revolutionnary France, then a General and then their Emperor!. He was- for all purposes- French to the marrow of his bones!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
