Clara Barton?

Question: Clara Barton!?

Ok does anyone know a couple reasons/facts on why clara barton is a historical significants!? The only reasons i know are because she helped Union soldiers in the Civil War and because she Brought supplies and stuff like that to them!

Clara Barton’s greatest claim to fame was as founder of the American Red Cross, in 1881, after a career of organizing nursing services and field hospitals during the Civil War and running an agency after the war for locating missing soldiers!. She was also a respected and outspoken figure in her day in support of women’s rights and the civil rights of former slaves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
