Question: What was the nation of Islams motive, in the assasination of Malcolm X!?

2 members of the Nation of Islam killed Malcolm X, a fellow former member!. Why!? I dont understand!?

AF is right on!. Malcom X diverged significantly from Elijad Mohammad and was assassinated during a speach!. He was dividing the "church" for lack of justifiable reason!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As I understand things, Malcolm X was assassinated by followers of Elija Muhammad because of comments Mr!. X made critical of the Nation of Islam in general and Elija Muhammad in particular!.
History says that after a trip to Mecca in which Malcolm X saw Muslims from all areas of the world and all races he disavowed the racist leanings of the leadership of the Nation of Islam, putting him in direct conflict with those whose teachings had led him to Islam!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
