Steam Power not only affected the Industrial Revolution but was the reason it existed!. There was really no way to run factories or ship goods in a timely matter without steam power!. Coal was used to produce steam which ran the railroads, which took the good made in factories (with machines that ran on steam power)!. Without steam power - there isn't a Industrial Revolution!. The beginning of mechanized factories and the ability to ship perishable goods was all because of the steam engine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
