Countess Bathory was an Eastern European noblewoman who murdered many, many young women and bathed in and drank their blood!. She thought it would keep her young and beautiful forever!. Because she was a noblewoman, when the other nobles found out, they couldn't kill her, so she was walled up in a room and left to starve to death or die of thirst!.
