George Eliot's "Silas Marner" was published in 1861!. It's the story of love, betrayal and the rediscovery of love!.
George Eliot's "Romola" was published in 1863!. It's the story set during the Italian renaissance!.
Fyodor Dostoevsky's "The House of the Dead" was published in 1862!. It's about life in a tsarist gulag!.
