During the Nazi years, jews had no legal standing, and so when captured were usually beaten and treated very badly before being sent to prison!.

From there they might be sent to a forced labour factory, many of which existed in Germany and allied countries making common household and industrial products!. In these places, the jewish workers, and people from other enslaved populations such as Russians and eastern europeans) were used as slaves, but without even the protection of being of monetary value to prevent abuse and being killed by dangerous work, overwork and abuse!.

Another way that captured Jewish people were used was to send them to forced labour camps where they undertook dangerous work or work for which there was no other workforce as all German men were subject to conscripotion into the armed forces!.

These jobs included forestry, mining and so on!. The bonus for the Nazi bosses was they didn't bother to supply safety gear, good food or other protection for their workers, who were considered slaves and simply worked to death, then buried in mass graves!.

They might also be sent to a concentration camp, where many millions of jewish people, along with others considered 'undesirable' by the Nazis such as Gypsies, homosexual people, Russians, people from eastern europe and people with disabilities, were brutally murdered!.

Most were sent to 'shower' blocks where they were poisoned with gas and their bodies disposed of in huge crematorium ovens, after being stripped of clothing, gold teeth, and hair, all of which was used for domestic and industrial purposes!.

Some were used in brutal 'medical' and 'scientific' experiments which would never be allowed but which the so-called doctors and scientists could get away with because their victims were jews, gypsies or socialists!.

Today, some of these concentration camps have been made into museums and memorials, where you can see documents and photographs of some of these experiemnts being conducted!.

In one, a man in full leather flying uniform of the day is immersed in a freezing cold bath, over and over, until he dies!.

This was supposedly to test how long fliers could endure cold water temperatures, but like many of these so-called scientific experiments it was simply sadism, as it was already known for thousands of years that people can survive only so long in such conditions!.

During the Holocaust, over 12 million people were murdered (6 million = Jews)!. It included Jews, non-Jews, people with disabilities, mental retardation and homosexuals!. Elderly, children (age 15 and younger), and the disabled would be immediately killed upon arrival!. They would be sent to a gas chamber disguised as a "shower room!." The healthy groups would become slaves - starved, physically abused and worked to death!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well they were forced in labor camps which are the same things as consentration camps but basicly the only difference is labor camps forced you to work and consentration camps is where you were gassed and such!.!.and some when they were caught were torchered in the streets and their things taken away and tons more stuff!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty much everyone that got caught was killed or sent to the camps!.

In the camps they were either given hard labor or nothing to do!. After a period of time they would often be executed or used in medical experiments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
