Disease led to almost incomprehensible levels of cultural loss!. Languages, entire tribes, entire groups of people, families, cultures!.!.!.the list goes on and on!.

My anthropology professor said that the population loss from disease was akin to if you took the entire population of the United States and killed everybody except the residents of New York!. 8,250,567 people left out of 303,932,160, if you want to use some numbers!.

And that's all that's left---all the language, all the culture, all the memory!.

That's IT!.
