I remember seeing president Nixon on television announcing the end of American involvement in the Vietnam war!. Even at that young age, I felt tremendous relief for everyone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The defeat of the Soviet Union by the Mujahideen in Afghanistan in 1989!.

You're probably thinking "Huh!?" -- but wait, this is the one event that has had the deepest repercussions for the whole world, and led directly to the world in which we now live!. From that defeat comes:

It is a tie between the day that Princess Di died and 9-11!. In both of those, it was like a shock wave that hit everyone!. Those were the two silent days!. The days where you went to school and no one really talked!. Shock and Silence!. Some cried, and some really didn't know what to do, but really no one talked or chatted or laughed like a normal day!. And yet, you somehow felt closer to everyone!. Anyways, those are the two that really stuck out for me!. I guess there weren't really any really happy ones like the end of a war, but I'm sure there will be eventually!. I don't actually remember it, because only a few scientists and engineers recognized its importance, but the release of the Intel 4004 microprocceser in 1971 has to rank high!.

9-11 was a scary moment for everyone!. I remember; I was in school sitting in my first homeroom class!.!.!.we all heard this!. We all got really confused, lots of worries, scare!.!.!.etc!.
