Question: Coin i found!?

Hey, i live in America and found an Australian coin!. The year on it is 1943 but what kind of coin is it!? I think it is money but i am not sureWww@QuestionHome@Com

You found an old pre-decimal Australian coin!. If it's brown in color then it's either a half or one penny made of bronze!. If it says 3d then that's a 3 pence!. A six pence coin is about the size of a dime, a shilling's size is between a quarter and nickel, and a florin is closer in size to a half dollar!. All the 3 pence, 6 pence, shilling and florin coins dated 1943 are sterling silver(0!.925 fine)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
