Question: Who was the most racist president!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Probably Andrew Jackson!. He forced the removal of the Indians, including many who had fought on his side in the War of 1812, even when the Supreme Court said he had no authority to do so!. He also hated the English with a passion and once as a judge hanged two Englishmen for "trespassing" on his property!. He was also a slaveowner known to have had slaves whipped!. Man had issues!.
(OTOH, he also had an adopted Indian son, though the reason he adopted the kid [Linkoyer] was because the boy was an orphan, and the reason he was an orphan was that Jackson killed his parents in battle!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Andrew Jackson and John Tyler both spring to mind, as they went out of their way to empower the southern states!. No president after Lincoln had any advantage in being perceived as racist, but Nixon might have been!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Either Andrew Johnson or Andrew Jackson!.
Johnson because he struck down a lot of legislation that would have helped protect blacks after the Civil War!.
Jackson because he chucked out a bunch of Native Americans from their homeland in an incident known as "The Trail of Tears"Www@QuestionHome@Com
