Today we've got all these lovely conviences!. Supermarkets, department stores, jobs we can hopefully rely on!. Yeah, believe it or not I'm counting jobs as a convience even though their not really a convience!. But compare the jobs we've got today to what primitive man had!. Hopefully we can rely on still having a job, and potentially having one that gives us time off for a vacation!. For primitive man the job was providing food, clothing, and shelter, of which food was something that had to be provided pretty much on a daily basis!.

Unlike primitive man, our jobs provide us with money so that we can buy quantities of food that should last us longer than a handful of days!. And where do most of us end up getting this food!. At a supermarket or grocery store!. We don't have to spend time growing it, hunting for it, or picking what grows wild, though we still do all these things!. For some of us it's and absolute must as they may not have the money to purchase their food!. For others it's both a luxury and a way of saving some money!.

And then there's shelter and clothing!. Jobs allow us to purcahse or rent shelter of some kind, so we're assured of a place to get out of the elements, which primitive man wasn't always assured of!. And we can purchase our clothing at department stores!. We don't have to spend the time actually making our clothing as primitive man did!.

All of these modern "conviences" free up some time for us, giving us a chance to go on vacation!. Of course it wasn't all that long ago that the vast majority of people couldn't even consider doing so!. Vacations were only something the rich could afford to do!. But for primitive man, even those that might have been considered wealthy by their standards (which would have been maybe 1 in a million) there was no time for a vacation!. Primitive man was too busy looking for a way to feed himself and his family and provide shelter from the elements!. Not only that,he had to watchout for interlopers on his land and wild beasts trying to kill him or his family too,so there'd be a few centuries before man could find time or invent machines to ease his burden and help him relax!.
But keep in mind,even primitive man had slavery of those tribes or groups he conquered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I bet he found some nice river /pool to have a dip in, then sat back to enjoy the sun!.
The only prob would have been keeping an eye out for large beasties that might find mine a tasty snack!.
