well, europe (like the USA) was going through a great depression!. hitler was able to use his country's weakness to gain power!. by the time he had gotten to his prime, it was too late to stop him!. even though they eventually did!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because those countries don't have much of a democratic tradition!. We in the US can trace our democratic tradition back to the Magna Carta in England of 1215!. That's almost 800 years of tradition!Www@QuestionHome@Com
