Question: Midieval Constantinople!!?

I was wondering what would be found in the city of constantinople during the 3rd crusade[1189-1192]
I have to write a paper on this, containing somethings you would notice in the city, and I wasn't sure!.

Were they muslim, eastern orthodox, or both!!?
I'm not sure!.

Before the Turks conquered Constantinople, it was a Byzantine city; one of the biggest cities in the world!. In the city there were many famous buildings, such as the Haga Sophia!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

before Constantinople, it was called Istanbul
