Battle of Britian - The RAF defeated the Luftwaffe above the skies of Britian keeping air superiority and preventing the invasion of Britian

Battle of Stalingrad - Soviet army defeats German army and from this point forward the German army was in full retreat from the USSR!.

Attack on Pearl Harbor - Caused the USA to enter the war on the side of the Allies

Battle of Midway - USA was able to sink 4 Japanese Carriers!. From this point forward the Japanese navy was on the defensive allowing the USA to hop across the pond known as the Pacific!.

The Battle of El Alamein - Caused the defeat of the Axis in North Africa, also pulled German troops from the USSR taking pressure of the Soviet troops trying to hold out against the German armies!.

D-Day Invasion - opened a 3rd front against the German Army in Europe and allowed the USA and UK to get a significant number of troops into Western Europe

Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa - Showed the USA the resolve of Japanese troops!. One of the reasons the USA dropped the Atomic bombs instead of invading the Japanese Homeland!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
