Question: Why was northern italy a natural birthplace for the Renaissance!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
It wasn't a 'natural' birthplace!. It just happened due to money!. Italians trading in Italy got alot of money because they sold their wares during a time of inflation (especially after Mansa Musa arrived)!. The inflation allowed shipbuilders, bankers and the rich to finance more art for their tastes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The North was in general more prosperous than the South!. Florence enjoyed commercial and political success!. In much of its history Rome was a large, unweildy, dirty city!. Venice nearby was a prosperous hub of Mediterranean shipping!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
