If you mean the WAR of 1812 between the US and Great Britain, it was fought across the US: on the Canadian border, in New Orleans, in DC!.!.!.and it lasted until 1814!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The war of 1812 was between the US and Great Britain, over the refusal to still recognize independence!. There were a number of battles, especially near Canada's border, because of disputes over where the US territory was!.
