War with Britain was inevitable!. They had lost their seemingly limitless suply depot for wood to build ships,furs, and land to establish more settlements!.Now they had to pay for what they got!.But what really angered America was Britain's attacks on commercial shipping and its fledgeling navy,then using "impressment" to force the men on these ships to "join" the British navy and stealing the cargo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think anybody tried to avoid the war with Britain!.
