After the Constitution was written the delegates insisted that certain amendments be added that would specifically address certain issues that were not to be left to interpretation!.

Most importantly, what powers would be granted to the Federal Govt and what rights and powers would be left to the States and The People!. ( notice The People in caps )

The most critical aspect of the Bill of Rights has been lost over the years!. Most people today think that The Constitution and the Bill of Rights grants we Americans our rights!. This is not true!.

The Constitution and The Bill of Rights recognizes " pre existing" rights endowed by our creator!.

This should be taught to every child in America before they even learn to read!. Our rights do not come from the government, or some document!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
