Question: What exactly is the Mediterranean area in the post-classical era!?
I'm supposed to be writing a history paper about trade between West Africa and the Mediterranean region in the post-classical era (600 C!.E!.-1450 C!.E) but I'm really not sure what they mean when they say the Mediterranean because when I think Mediterranean I think Greece and Italy, around there!. But Greece and Italy weren't really powers in the Post-Classical Era so does it mean more like the Middle East!? Could that be considered Mediterranean!? Please help!Www@QuestionHome@Com
